Social Media Changes Lives
The other day, I received an email from a kid named Robert:
Hey Chris, you may not know me. I just recently started watching your live feed. I’m nineteen years old. I was born with a lung condition called Cystic Fibrosis. I am on the transplant list at University Of North Carolina. I will have to move up there with my dad for about 8-12 months. The insurance company covers the operation but does not cover living expenses and etc. I am currently taking donations and was wondering If you can do anything to help. Here is the link for donations.
I tweeted the link out and… people responded:
Last night, I did an interview with Alfred.TV and.. check this out:
So, maybe on a weekly (or monthly?) basis, we could do something similar for anybody in our community in need of help…?

I think every week or atleast every month you should find a place to raise money for charities like these and for sick children to give them toys for the holidays and a charity like the salvation army to give the homeless people clothing.I think of you as a good person in the fact that you use your “Dog food” bit of fame to give to the needy.

Chris, I think this is a good Idea and i used it to raise funds for my charity my worry is that we will burn people out with donation fatigue. What are your thoughts on burning people out?
