So Happy Together

I didn't mean to sound cranky with my post on OPML the other day. Sometimes, when I want something to work the way I want it to work – and it doesn't – I get frustrated. If I offended anybody, it certainly wasn't my intention. Truth be told, RSS / OPML is going to play a large part of Lockergnome's future – and I'll definitely be engaging the community in a more active (read: positive) manner. And for whatever it's worth, I just renewed my copy of Radio, I helped Beth get her RSS feed up-and-running on Blogger Pro, purchased something on Noah's Amazon wish list when I was using Greymatter, and I'm using a registered version of MovableType to manage this blog. I just downloaded the new beta of Safari for my iMac, even though I'm entering this post through w.bloggar on Windows XP. In other words, what I'm trying to say is: I'm not a software biggot.

Just found “w.bloggar” the other day, and have to say I am springing to pay the guy. I like it a lot. I have yet to get Movable Type working (it's me) and will probably spring for an install just to save my hair (I am a stay-at-home-dad, and 10 minutes in a row of work is not always possible),
I have learned a lot from you Chris, and I am still having a problem with TechTV – I hold grudges.

I use a “program” called blogworks for my blog now. I was (am still) a livejournal user but now I have my own site. I wanted to be able to use Moveable type but my host that I have only supports ASP….I wish I knew a nice hosting company that had perl/cgi support and didn't cost an arm and a leg *ahem*

I love w.bloggar too. I am also looking at setting up a RSS feed. Is it possible to do it using Blogger and not Blogger Pro?

Hi Chris, I'm glad you're using Radio. Have you tried the Start Menu Aggregator. I wrote it with you in mind, as you know. ;->

Hey, why no HTML in comments?

opps. I misstyped my webpage on that last post.

Anthony:
Checkout http://www.trinitywebs.com they have excellent prices and offer cgi/perl.
tobey

Anthony.. another good one is ipowerweb.com Give them a try. :)

Thank God you finally changed that shirt.

I'm getting cranky looking at that webcam pic. Did the heinous bit structure cause camera damage? :D I'm still working at figuring out a doable blog scenario for myself. I still don't think I have anything to say that is worth wasting electrons on. I'll be in that category of blogs and websites that hides in obscurity and humiliation…See what I mean. I finally heard back from my ISP about using my free available personal webspace,It sounds complicated but possible. My learning curve is steepening! :p

That Start Menu NewsAggregator is cool. I downloaded it yesterday and had no problems installing it. What confuses me about the application is when I looked at it today, there was only one news item to read. Let's see I have NY Times, Adam Curry, Scripting News, and of course Chris Pirillo in my subscription list but today only the NY Times posted on the News Aggregator. Anyone know why that would happen? Oh BTW Cat Schwartz was interviewed by Dana Pretzer on C Band Radio. Heres the link: http://207.233.44.253/pretzer/a13.mp3

Know anything about Unix?

Chris,I know that you love to laugh and you're silly as the rest of us ;) I found a blog that just might make you fall out of your seat. It's http://stu.cofc.edu/~mfperry/…I hope you don't hurt your ass like I did ;)

Chris, I like w.blogger too. What a great piece of software. I am still looking forward to your next move, hope it is soon. Have a greta day!
