Snow Day

Well, there's a snowstorm blowin' into town. Last night, it was all over the news - winter warnings and whatnot. We pushed back our return flight by another day, so we're in NYC for another night. Not sure what we'll do - although Ponzi wanted to do a show (I hear Billy Joel is playing at Radio City Music Hall). I just checked the Weather channel site and it says: “WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED… WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT.” Well, it could've been worse, I suppose. Things are still very wet and cold out there, and no doubt ice will be collecting on the streets overnight. We had to pay a few hundred dollars more to stay another day longer in the hotel (added to the extra cost of pushing back the flight by another 24 hours). Gotta love snow. Today was like a snow day of sorts - only we weaved in and out of clothing stores in search of an ensemble for a slightly underpacked Jake. The snow has stopped falling now, BTW. At least, here in the heart of Manhattan.

Billy Joel???? Eee-gads! Come on, you guys are a decade + younger than me, FFS. Billy is for old farts. (IMO)
P.s. Take some pics of you guys frolicking in the snow!

Nothing like being in New York on a cold snowy day, well Chris do make the most out of the cold day. “Bill Joel” I did like him back in the 80’s, his songs are classics especially the one that I truly love “We didn’t start the fireâ€Â?. But as time has progressed there are better and more talented artists who come to NYC to perform that’s one of the perks of living in a city like no other in the world. Moreover come on its NYC one can find so many different types of things to do that suit according to their personality. I bet you and Ponzi will have no problem finding things to do.
Have fun.
