Sleepy Squared
I wasn't expecting to spend so much time setting up a new Web site (which hasn't gone live yet). Once the template is in place, everything else is cake. Jake and I were mulling over our options this afternoon. We were lamenting the fact that we couldn't add some type of “Ratings” feature to this yet-to-launch resource. He brought up my blogging tool, Movable Type. Duh. Why didn't I think of that? Worked like a charm. Almost. I may not have been using the software correctly, but it kept clobbering templates when I'd link to direct files. It's difficult to explain exactly what happened. Suffice it to say, I lost two hours of productivity tonight. Live and learn. Now, I'm a little behind, but quite determined to get this out before I head to bed. I'm nutty that way. I'm also very tired.

Ah I see you suffer from the same affliction I have… tenacity. I hate to start something and leave it unaccomplished for something as trivial as sleep…. Can't wait to move my site to a host that will allow me to use MT 2.0. Any chance for a review soon, Chris?

Wow, what a cool site. Glad to be watching such poetry in motion. Looking forward to seeing all of you in Iowa in August. See you then.
Peace Out,

I have a rule that works well for me and I only break it occasionally. I stop all computer work, tweaking, or anything else technical after midnight. I tend to start missing little things and ultimately have to redo stuff the next day.

Aw, you haven't lived until you start rebuilding a RAID 1+0 array at two in the morning. Obviously it depends on the context. I don't imagine claiming sleep over getting a mail server for a geographically diverse company back online would be too good for the old job prospects.
