One thing the no one has mentioned (the reporter included) is that it is actually possible to scare someone to death, literally.

When waking your pet as the case may be, or a human from a sleep walking, or other nightmare, you must talk to them calmly, gently bringing them back to a state of consciousness. Or in the case of a child hold on to them gently while talking calmly and lead them back to their bed.

You should never yell, or startle anyone or thing that is in not actually awake... you could kill them.

Just an FYI for all you readers out there.

I used to sleep walk as a kid on an almost nightly basis. I still do it intermittently as an adult, especially after flying and staying in hotels.

Worst sleep walking incident? Staying at my parents during the holidays (stress, jet lag always make me sleep walk!) and going into their bedroom... in a little nightgown... to pull all the blankets off their bed because I was "looking for the dog".

They sleep naked. Thank goodness I do not remember the incident.

The newscaster thinks her jokes are funnier than they really are, I also noticed no direct citations of the usernames for the videos they played. YouTube really doesn't cut it for citing the source. And what does dreaming of internet fame mean? You've had it, and for quite some time.
