I wish the Skype iPhone app could run in the background…I don’t think it can, right? I believe I have to have the app “active” to receive calls.

That’s all well and good – but I am a big fan of Skype on the iPhone. It’s not perfect – it has to be running to receive calls – but I can make calls with it very clearly when on Wifi, which is just as good as this phone. The sound quality is great, too. And I don’t have to pay extra or carry another phone with me. :-)

One thing you don’t mention that your readers may be interested to know is that there is a Skype app available for free on the iPhone that serves the same purpose as this IPEVO phone. By using the app, your iPhone becomes a Skype phone that you can use anywhere you have access to wifi.
