heh, I haven’t eaten Skittles in 10 years because they contain that taste… of skittles. It’s nice to live in the UK where they don’t really have them.

When You Can’t Get #Skittles Stick With #Strawberries And #Blueberries For Those Sugar Cookies…
If I hadn’t given up candy (and ice cream and chocolate snacks) for Lent, I’d totally walk across the street to Raplh’s and scoop some skittles for this batch! Sure, with Skittles Simultaneously Serving Social Media Snacks at Skittle…

I was never crazy over Skittles. Now I really don’t like them after your post about them being hydrogenated. Don’t tell me starburst are also poisoned up.

Anything Pillsbury or Betty Crocker seem to be full of transfats! Cookie dough, biscuits, cake icing… I’ve seen up to 2.5 g of transfats PER SERVING. However, Wal-Mart brand biscuits are transfat FREE, no hydrogenated oil! ALL PRAISE WAL-MART!!

Transfats are formed during the production (deodorizing process) of canola oil as well as during the “hydrogenation” process. The University of Florida found transfats as high as 4.6 percent in commercial canola oil, coming mostly from omega-3 fats. “When good fats turn bad!”

I always loved Skittles, but now I’m going to be hesitant to eat them after hearing about this. It’s interesting that this became a huge discussion on Twitter. Good discussion post Chris; very informative!

The best alternative to eating candy that tastes like fruit is to actually eat the fruit the candy tastes like.
