If for some reason you are having trouble with your machine not recognizing the drive or just not functioning properly then you should switch it to Master.  I personally set all the CD-RW&#039;s I install to Master as habit because that use to be the only way they would work well on older machines but that&#039;s not the case anymore.  So I would say leave it alone unless you have problems.
