I am only 14 and bought a CD-RW Drive (Internal) and Installed it myself. My Question is should I set my CD-RW Drive to Slave Mode Or Master Mode. My Current CD-Rom Drive is on Master Mode. So I put the burner in Slave Mode. Is it correct or should I Change the modes in any of my drives. Thanks And Also I am a regularly watch CALL FOR HELP. i love the show. Keep up the good work. Putting your CD-RW as slave should be fine. If for some reason you are having trouble with your machine not recognizing the drive or just not functioning properly then you should switch it to Master. I personally set all the CD-RW's I install to Master as habit because that use to be the only way they would work well on older machines but that's not the case anymore. So I would say leave it alone unless you have problems. Like they say, if it's not broke then don't fix it… not that I follow that saying.
