You know it's an important day when Google changes their logo. Otherwise, it's simply business as goosual. Today, they have three balloons in place of the first O and a number 6 in place of the second. This signifies that the 3 + 6 = 9 balloonmen of the apocalypse are coming (according to my translation of ancient texts).

I'm not so sure that he really knows that. He's been acting all weird lately, like he's been brainwashed into following some Messopotamian cult. I'm a bit concerned.

Nah! Not brainwashed, just showing the 'Kinder, gentler gnome' that he could be. The IPO certainly gave them something to celebrate.
Of course it could all be an after-effect of dropping to critically low levels of caffeine…
