@ChrisPirillo I guess, maybe a topic for your show: At what point do we begin removing old technologies (any platform) from our resume?

This is a really interesting question, Gus! I sent this out on my own Twitter stream, to see what kind of answers we’d get from all of you. I have to say, Sean Kearney hit the nail on the head. I agree 10000000000% with his assessment:
Depends on the targeted job. I might show some really old skills as a point to open conversation.
Many of you feel that you should replace tech skills on your resume as soon as something new and shiny comes along. However, I sincerely hope that you tailor your resume for every job that you apply for. As Sean says, certain jobs may actually want to know about ALL of your relevant skills – even if they’re considered to be “old.”
Never send a stock resume. You have to stand out, y’all. Sell yourself and make damn sure the hiring manager knows that YOU are the right person for the job. The job market is tough!
