you can view an LCD from the side but you lose contrast which really sucks and makes it pointless if you really care about what you are looking at

well too bad that u didn’t find any… Well, just to let u know. there are LCD that are good at looking at the angle…and Plasma will reflect if there are light hitting on it. and it doesn’t have high resolution like LCD.

Nope. A LCD is not good for looking at from an angle. That’s the reason I didn’t buy one. Plasma is much better .

that’s sad… go to circuit city, best buy, or anywhere… and look at some Sony LCD Tv… I’m pretty sure u can find one.

Plasma is the best way to go. You can’t look at a LCD from the side.

ummm in couple of years they are releasing OLED tv, which is like 4x the 1080p as i heard and they are like 3mm thin.
