Server Problems
So, yeah… we’ve been fighting a few server burps over the past few days. I don’t even know where to begin - but I do know where we’re headed, and that’s up. Sean and Chris Brunner have reverse engineered an awful lot to get us to some level of stability, and there’s still much work yet to be done. I’m told that we need to locate a MySQL guru, too? We are adding a few more modifications to WPMU, but have stumbled into a better plan along the way - more on that soon. Essentially, I’m going to be starting my first Open Source project.

Oh please tell me you are building a new open source operating system!!!!???
I heard rumors that Google is trying to do that very thing, and I welcome ANY new product that rivals Apple and Microsoft, but isn’t Linux. I’m a n00b and could use an operating system that I can use on my PC and distribute to family easily.
P.S. I am sure whatever you are working on, it will be killer!!! AND…your latest article in the COMPY magazine made me LOL for real. Thanks for the laughs.

Glad to hear the server problems are more or less fixed. It was pretty tough to post or even read the blogs. What happened to the page which was showing most recently updated blogs?
Good luck with moving and getting married. Kind of on speed dial are you? My wedding was during a move to another country, Canada to the US so you have my sympathy.

Hey, reminds me of what I have been going through. Bad enough having the server issues, but I cant imagine you being so cool headed bout this cause there isn’t any way that I could deal with all the extra commotion added to the server issue. Hope all goes well.
