Scan and Convert to PDF with Software
http://live.pirillo.com - Organizing your bills can be a difficult task, especially when you want to do it digitally. Jozjozjoz needs a solution for her scanning problem. She needs a document scanner that will scan directly to PDF, but doesn’t want to get another machine to do this.
The all-in-one printer can potentially scan to anything: any application that can recognize the scanner can use it. Of course, this means you’ll have to get another application that will let you scan directly to PDF.
Nuance makes a product called PDF Converter, which lets you use your scanner to scan directly to PDF.
PDF Converter 4 instantly converts PDF files into documents, spreadsheets and forms that look exactly like the original - complete with formatting and graphics! Set information free to edit, and integrate in to documents saving time and dramatically boosting your productivity.
You can get $10 off PDF Converter 4 with coupon code SAVE$10, and save 15% on all Nuance Products with Coupon Code 15%OFF. If you’re looking to organize those scanned documents, you can get 20% off PaperPort 11 with coupon code 20%PP11.
PrimoPDF will let you print directly to a PDF file instead of printing to a piece of paper.
Convert to PDF from any application by simply ‘printing’ to the PrimoPDF printer - it couldn’t be easier! Within minutes, you can create and append high-quality PDFs by converting from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtually any other printable file type.
On the subject of scanning bills, Chris has a piece of hardware called Neat Receipts which lets you scan and organize your various receipts and bills.

[...] So in the middle of all my cleaning yesterday, I took a few minutes to IM Chris Pirillo to pick his brain for a solution. What I didn’t realize is that he was in the middle of doing his show when I IMed him. He asked me if I wanted to call in, but if I did that Yoshi would catch me “goofing off” (not cleaning) and I didn’t want to get in trouble for that. But he was nice enough to make a post about my problem anyway… and get coupon codes for the products he found! [...]

Hi Chris, I saw your answer about scanning bills and such. I use a free program called Scan2PDF. Not only will it scan directly into a PDF, you can select an existing image and convert it into a PDF. http://www.koma-code.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=39&Itemid=82

Chris,
I used to use PrimoPDF, until I found an even better “free” product named PDF reDirect.
http://www.exp-systems.com/
It lets you create individual PDF from various source files, and “merge” them into a single PDF, in the order of your choosing.

What I really need and search for
is a free software that can take a bunch of images
(jpg, gif, png, whatever…) and bundle them into a PDF.
Is there anything like that out there?
Thank you all for your preciou$ time ;o}

Thanks Ernesto Colina, I downloaded from http://www.dopdf.com/ and installed doPDF and it works like a charm.
I always use a free on-line website http://www.pdfonline.com/index.htm to convert all of my files. There is an advantage to both.
doPDF can be done on a stand alone PC and you don’t have to wait if there is a lot of traffic at the on-line website.
On the other hand, pdfonline.com file size was half the size created by doPDF.

You bring good luck !
After searching the web for weeks for the free SW I needed
(multi-images-into-PDF),
just after I left my appeal here…I found it !
Here it is, for all to share:

Thank you all and BIG THANKs, of course,
to the authors of the program.
ALL the BEST to ALL !

I use this free firefox add-on called LOOP. Its a free on-demand service that lets you upload word, excel, power point, text, web pages and other type of files. It immediately converts the files to pdf and allows you to combine all the pdfs into one pdf.
