Hey. I live in Alaska. I am a father of 2 kids. I am so much concerned with the safety of kids as market is flooded with toys. Thank you so much for the information as I would take care of these facts whenever I buy a toy next time.

It’s crazy to hear about all the recalls on the toys nowdays. And because of that, my wife decided that she is making handmade stuff for the kids in our family this year.

There is a solution at http://toysnotmadeinchina.org However, from reports I’ve read, a lot people or should I say the great majority tend not to care or gamble with a child’s safety. So even after the holidays, you now have an online destination that carries ONLY toys NOT made in China.

Not the dreaded annoying toy. I have one too many of them here, and it drives me insane. Every time I see it, I just have to check and double check to make sure it’s off.
Also, did you hear about those AquaDots things? If a child swallows one, the coating they put on them turns into a date rape chemical. Why couldn’t they find that sooner?

I don’t get why we can’t do something about the toys. If they come into the US they should be check and there should be safety testing on all toys. You would think by now they would.
