I recently downloaded the latest Sabayon from their website, and the installation process isn’t quite going the way i hoped. It initially seems to be going well, but then “hangs” at 34%. I have tried many times with the same result. Online search on the installation process reveals that during the download of the file packets can get “lost”. My copy seems to be ok and i was wondering whether or not there are any known issues concerning this or if the installation process takes unusually longer when installing certain programs. Partition magic is installed and it suggests that linux swap shouldn’t be on the same harddrive as the os itself, but the automatic Sabayon’s installation does place them within the same partition. Other concerns are the placement of the linux partiton(before or after xp), the minimun size etc. I currently run xp and have 1.5gb of ddr2 ram, a intel d930 processor(i’m no quite sure if u need to know any of this to answer my questions), i assume that the hardware is compatible. Thanks for your time.Sam

The link for Sabayon is incorrect. The correct link is http://www.sabayon.org. You have it as a dot com.
