Rooting for Rooting (and Why Are Our Australian Friends All Chuckling?)

I’m rooting my device! All of the cool geeks are doing it, so I figured I’d find out what all the fuss is about.

I’m also wondering why our Australian friends chuckle whenever I say things like “I’m rooting my device.” Maybe it’s my voice? My facial expression when I say it? I’m sure it’s nothing I should worry about. Oh, wait. I just googled “australian slang root.” In the immortal words of George Takei: “Oh, my!”

Anyway, I’m installing Ubuntu on my Nexus 7. Nothing more risque than that. This is a family vlog, pervs from down under!
