I pay when commercial product is better than free. I paid for Radmin that I use for connecting my home PC. RDP is far from being “brilliant”.

Indubitably, RDP, Log Me In and TeamViewer are all fine examples of Remote support software, why pay for something when you can get a similar service for free.

If you are a commercial venture with lots of free cash to burn, try this…. Otherwise, like most of the Lockergnome audience, there are solid, viable, and often free alternatives. This commercial recommendation is disappointing.

Try TeamViewer, I have used it for remote support on XP, Vista and now Windows 7. Since it is for personal use, its is free. And unlike RDP it is a session that can be two way as well,

Why would you pay for gotoassist when windows has had RDP built into it for years?

I support my entire families pc with RDP… for free :)
