Reflections for the New Year

My friend Renee sent me a list of questions, designed to help me reflect on the past year, and set some clear goals for the coming one. I’m including the questions, so that all of you can answer them for yourselves, as well. Unfortunately, I cannot answer all of these on a video, or it would be a few hours long. But these really made me think, and I’m very glad Renee sent them. I’m definitely interested in hearing your answers, as well.

Completing 2007:

* What was your biggest triumph in 2007?
-I know this is kind of stupid but my biggest triumph was graduating middle school which wasn’t really a struggle but it was the biggest thing that happened to me in 2007.
* What was the smartest decision you made in 2007?
-Probably transferring out of a different high school since I really wasn’t enjoying the prep school I had chosen and now I enjoy school a lot better in a school that’s much closer to my home.
* What one word best sums up and describes your 2007 experience?
-It was probably my most enjoyable year I have endured, I got my first summer job, my first relationship (lasted a week, but still my first) and entered the high school world.
* What was the greatest lesson you learned in 2007?
-Probably learning that everything can really change with just your own thoughts. Such as at my job you could fix anything as long as you put your mind to it and did it fast.
* What was the most loving service you performed in 2007?
-Probably buying 50 dollars worth of chocolate for my gf for valentines day and all coming down bad when she broke up with me on the 12th of feb.
* What is your biggest piece of unfinished business in 2007?
-I don’t really feel like i had a big piece of unfinished business in 2007 I just really want to do better in my bio course which I’m kind of struggling in it but I’m sure I’ll get through it.
* What are you most happy about completing in 2007?
-I am happy I completed a history term paper in a night and got an A on it.

-Probably Petter B, Anthony C, and Lori M, they had the biggest experience on my life because the first two are my closest friends and the last one taught me mistakes I should never do,
* What was the biggest risk you took in 2007?
-Probably sneaking out til around 2 at my shore house. Kind of scared when I came back.
* What was the biggest surprise in 2007?
-I can’t really think of any real big surprises. Though I wish I could think of one.
* What important relationship improved the most in 2007?
-The relationship probably between me and my friends most of my closest friends i met this year.

* What one word would you like to have as your theme in 2008?
-Party!

My god that took like 20 minutes of the year 2008 for me. Damn you questionnaire!

These are good questions, but in my opinion, they seem like questions that you shouldn’t dwell over and think of an answer. I know it is good to have some kind of good new years resolution, but to me you should just live your life to its fullest without much worry. (Don’t we all want that kind of life? ;)

So basically, someone sent a Myspace survey to you.

Wow 2007 must be fun and 2008 must be more fun!

Chris. Wow you have done an amazing job since the beginning of 2007. I have watched your videos/livestream since the beginning of June. At first i found you entertaining(I’m Breaking up With Windows Vista). Then as the year wen’t on i found a more sirious side of you.

Since you have done the 1-888-Pirillo calls till new years eve. I think that you have had a very successfull year. It was pretty cool as you started the live stream, to making a chat, to getting youtube subscribers.

I think that your live stream has been very successfull, and i wish you luck for the rest of 2008, and longer.

brad

I don’t do new years resolutions, as they are always doomed to fail.

I just wish these kids would quit being inmature and quit using foul language! We are all adults here, act like one!

IN 2008 I would like to convenst my friends and peers to do more about global warming.

I do agree with you, and I actually am just a kid, merely 18 years of age. Judging by how you referred to “us” as “kids” I assume that you are older than myself. Maybe people of your age and generation could learn how to spell? There is no such word as inmature. Just stating. LOL

What Do You Think?
