Oy. Gretchen's playing that First Leo video for her folks. If I see that thing again, I think I'm going to scream. Don't get me wrong. I love Leo as much as the next geek, but you can hear that song only so many times before you go insane. And I'm the guy who recorded it!

They came home this afternoon with tales of all the weird homeless folk they met on the Wharf. One was named Troi, another one was Jadzia, and so on and so forth. They've settled down for the evening in front of the TV (after having some of Gretchen's world-famous BLT soup).

Oh sweet! They're watching Best in Show – one of the funniest movies I've seen this year. I mean, last year. I keep forgetting that we've hit 2002. I'm debating whether or not to go down there and watch it with them. I've seen it six times already. It's just about as good as Waiting for Guffman. Where the hell did I put my “Remains of the Day” lunchbox?
