I used to read Wil's blog regularly until I slowly realised how much of a spoiled little brat he is. I wouldn't touch that book with a ten foot poll. Attention rabid Wil fans: I do not respond to personal attacks on the internet, and I really don't give a **** about what you think. Why should you? Note: Not all Wil fans are rabid.

Chris, I'm glad the taping went well. Sounds as if there will be at least a couple of good “Call for Help” episodes this week, it'll be good to see you on camera again!

I've since gotten rid of my dish network subscription and now i can't watch. Oh well. I'm glad you had a good time Chris, i hopw to get to see you on the small screen on another occasion if i can't for CFH.

Anybody who knows anything realizes Leo is HISTORY as far as TTV is concerned. (At least until Comcast takes over,and even then,who knows?).

Well since Comcast owns G4 - yes it is Comcast who is calling the shots. A quick look at Leos blog and other news sources would easily confirm this.

It's great to hear you're back on CFH for however long a gig you can manage. Cat, Roger et al seem to be doing ok but you'll infuse a little, much needed energy in the next coupla' shows, I'm sure.
It's crazy to see they're still using you in a TTV promo up here in Canada (an excellent soundbite BTW) but it'll be great to see your mug again.

To Robert: you asked why they're still saying, “Substituting for Leo Laporte” on “Call for Help.” Apparently there's a lot going on that we're not aware of–part of this, I'm assuming, are efforts by TechTV to negotiate. Initially Leo announced that he had left TechTV. In a recent blog entry, he referred to his job as being “held hostage.”

Don't get too excited about Chris' two show stint. TTV has been very clear that Leo WILL be back. It may not be as the host for call for help but you're not going to see Chris in that roll on a regular basis either. This was just a case of TTV filling a hole.

Chris, thank you for doing a few shows for Call for Help. I wonder what theme song they will use……..hmmm… :)

Great job Chris! Of all the hosts they have had on CFH, you are the best. The show just flows alot smoother with you there. And the pace is faster too. Excellent job! You belong on TV…you should work with G4/Comcast and try to get a spot there. Good luck!

I was disappointed when you left CFH even though I respect Leo immensely (we're roughly the same age and technology level). It will be nice to see you back even if it is only for a couple of days for now. You had an energy that has been missing for some time and I think Leo and Pat (no insult to Kevin) are still the best fit on The Screen Savers. One of the good things about TechTV in Canada is if I missed the show as I did today it is broadcast about 300 times a week so I can catch you appearance (for Wednesday) later on tonight. You are my Mom's favorite TechTV host. When ever she came to visit it me she would watch Call For Help, since she didn't have TechTV were she lived. She was disappointed when you left. Since then she has been watching SoapNet.

Its odd, once I seen you on I felt like a good feeling of perfectness of TTV I've never seen since the first time, and your personality for the show is what CFH Needs, you bring upbeat, strong positive pace that other hosts did not. Chris, thanks for the first enjoyable “Call for Help” program since the Leo crisis began. Leo is wonderful as host of this program, but I have to admit that you are as well. Your enthusiasm is contagious, yet you're capable of the same calm, “It's not your fault” demeanor as Leo when the need arises.

Great job Chris! You've done your homework and now you reap the rewards! Spoiled? I think not!
The energy you exuded comes from years of applied organized passion.

You did a great job the last two days, I hope to see you on CFH more until they get their act together. I read where people have compare you to Leo, but it is hard to do that because you both do a great job. But you have two different styles and two different personalities. It would be trying to compare Mario Andietti to John Force.(What can I say, I am a Gearheaded Geek). Both are great drivers, but do different styles of racing.

Chris, your two day stint on “Call for Help” was a lot of fun to watch. I'm happy to see that Leo has reached an agreement with TechTV at last, but if that company had any sense they would try to get you back on the air permanently in some fashion. Hey! If anyone from TechTV is reading this, there's plenty of room for improvement on “The Screensavers” right now. : )

I caught the two shows, & you were just terrific! A bit calmer than before…but I think its for the better. Your hyperactiveness is the primary complaint of your detractors. :) I have no problem with that however. Still, even when you toned it down a bit, the shows were energetic.
Too bad it's only for two episodes, coz I hear Leo's coming back… Oh well, a little taste of that will go a long way I guess. Continued success to you!

Chris, it was a blast seeing you on CFH the last two days. You certainly were missed and I think the combined G4/Techtv merger would be missing something if they didn't have you as part of their lineup. At the very least, they should consider having you be permanent sub host for Leo. Leo's great, but it'd be nice to see you once in a while, too.

Chris,It was ******* great seeing you on CFH again. Somehow your voice is not as annoying as it once was. I also noticed you and Roger have not patched things up. Such a shame. I really think you are a better host for CFH than Leo, but unfortunately Leo's fans have more clout at TechTV. I just hope to God that the G4 executives were watching at how well you did “filling” in for Leo.
