Pre-Conference Jitters
We're in the home stretch for Gnomedex 5. Going to bed later than normal (and waking up earlier than human) has us worn a little ragged, but we aim to be well-rested by the time Thursday night's party rolls around. Ponzi decided to capture a moment of pre-conference jitters on video, and you're welcome to watch what happened. However, I warn you to turn down your sound before you get about halfway through it. Watching the 5:00 video is likely to put you to sleep – it's not really that exciting. I'm serious: this is a real snoozer. The sleeper hit of the summer, some might say. I think she even ruined her digicam's mic in the process of filming. All for the sake of transparency. Take a couple of 'No Doz' before proceeding!!! Here we go.
Optimize 3.0 is an excellent tool to have in your arsenal. Use it to clean up your computer, free up space by removing junk files, and to generally speed up your computer. You spend a lot of time using your machine... don't you want it to run at its optimum speed and efficiency?

You'll both do fine. My first Gnomedex was last year in Tahoe and I can only imagine how absolutely rockin' it's going to be this year.

Just had a brainstorm. You ought to have yourself wheeled out on to the stage bound to a hand-truck. Then have the escorts run away as if you are going to go ballistic once 'released'.
I know that none of this would ever happen. But I still think it would be a hysterical way to start off the conference (easy to do, too). Sort of like 'Pirillo unleashed'! ;o)

You should have some crazy events or stunts to liven things up. Like do a geek version of Fear Factor, like whoever will eat 5 pounds of pig testicles wins a palm or something.

I'm getting jittery myself knowing this will be the first Gnomedex I've missed! Don't know if I can stand the withdrawal, but medical problems have me finanacially strapped and physically sapped, so I will have to ruin my perfect record. Know it will be great and I am sorry to have to miss it.
