Users of free software are to be blamed. You are right with the no give part. It's okay to report problems, or give constructive critisism/feedback/suggestion to the author of the software. But some users, well, they complain and DEMAND. Some users love to intimidate and discourage authors as well. Come on, if you don't like it, shut up and don't use it, else give something back, and hey, Money helps as well if you don't know how to code.

the golden age of the internet is over. I remember that year, when I didn't pay any more than $6 for a cd (thanks to coupon-wars between CDNow and -RIP- music boulevard)...paying full price for a book (thanks, barnes and noble.com and amazon). MAN there were a ton of coupons back then! I haven't seen coupons like that in almost two years now. hehe - I still have my Free PC from freepc.com - that was great...got a few $10 checks from stupid companies who paid me to keep "ad banners" open on my desktop while I slept. they've all gone belly-up.
and, on top of that. . . napster, the epitome of the free internet, is dead.
did anybody REALLY think the free internet would last?
