PopUp Killer Gets Killed
“After numerous reports of problems with Internet Explorer from many new PopUp Killer users I have decided to discontinue my most beloved little baby.”
Expect to see more and more “free” authors making the same decision. All take, take, take, take, take, and no give. The world doesn't work that way, and anybody who believes otherwise is living under a sad, sad blanket of delusion. I'm surprised more sites and services haven't dropped off the face of the Internet already. If they're not making plans to go “fee,” then they're pretty much signing their own death certificate. Years ago, things were different. Expecting anybody to maintain their “Internet presence” with yesterday's mindset is just stupid. STUPID. So, lament the loss of yet another freebie, but don't lambaste the author for giving up on the project.
