I also prefer it popped fresh on the stove, but I've been known to eat an entire bag of microwave popcorn in lieu of a meal.

Popcorn is one my all time favorite comfort foods. Just put a quarter cup of popcorn in a brown lunch bag with a few tablespoons of oil. I use olive oil but use what you like. Close the bag and shake lightly. Microwave for about a minute and a half to two minutes. It takes some practice to get it just right depending on your oven.Great popcorn, fast, and you know just what's in it.

Those use no oil (as I remember). What the heck was that thing called?? A cream colored cylinder, a yellowish orange plastic cover and popcorn guide, turn it on and it spins the popcorn seeds around until they burst...was it the air popper??

Chris, you should surf to find yourself one of those old air poppers! I had some for the first time in months too except it was the microwaved kind. Haven't had the old fashioned oil-in-a-pan for a while but will have to try it soon.

Must have been a popcorn kind of night.
