Of course there are coincidences! My favorite Simpsons scene of all time is when at the end of one episode (I think when Bart gets run over by Mr. Burns) Marge tries to find some meaning in the story, and a moral. She tries a few, but nothing fits. Finally, Homer says, "Oh, maybe it was just a bunch of stuff that happened." Homer speaks truth. Heed him.
