Podsafe Podcast Music

The term you’re looking for is "podsafe music." This music generally allows you to play the music back without having to pay a royalty every time the song is played; all they ask is for attribution.
We’d recommend using Adam Curry’s Podsafe Music Network, but you can also try asking the artist directly6 and see if they’ll let you use their music (hey, it can’t hurt).

Real artists and musicians control their own creations by letting them go and moving on to making more. If you’ve heard some music and you want to mix it into your own realm, never hesitate to try and get a hold of the maker, and talk with them about what your plans are for using their creation. Music deserves to be freed, like all art it’s a GIFT. Artists want to hear that people dig their ****, don’t be scared to let them know.
