Podcasting Hacks

It's time to start hacking podcasts! I started with Eric Rice this afternoon. He talks about doo-doo on his “other site.” If you don't believe me, just listen for yourself. That's him podcasting about doing a podcast about podcasts for podcasting on podcasts. Okay, so… I'm sick and tired of explaining to people that they don't need an iPod to either (a) podcast, (b) listen to a podcast, (c) talk about podcasting, or (d) hack a podcast. You could say that we're doing a podcast, too – but we're not. We're just doing what we always planned on doing (independent of any given platform or alleged platform). Do you have a podcast? Great, so let's talk about podcasting in another podcast. Whee!

Use Optimize 3.0 to clear out your registry, and get rid of pesky errors that can threaten the stability of your machine. It's also easy to use to kill off unneeded processes that may be hogging up your memory - and will help speed up your boot times.

Huh??
I'm really getting weary of all these instant fads, three (and four) letter acronyms that change faster than an active blogger's blog, etc.
The only reason I even attempt to “keep up” is:
1. so I know what to stay away from and
2. sometimes, in the midst of it all, a piece of important general information is casually thrown in – like something that applies to everyday web/internet use.
Whew. Can understand why people get fed up and just unplug.
Happy with my dial-up connection? Oh, yes!!

To clarify, I doodoo shows, not doodoo podcasts. Big difference. ;-)

I'm sick of trying to explain as well. It's too bad because I like the idea of podcasts a lot, but I don't dig the name and hell I podcast at http://www.rbradio.net and http://www.accidenthash.com .
I wish it had a better name. Oh well..
