There’s broadband connectivity on the designated Holland America cruise liner! I’ll be plugging away on an unplugged (wireless) connection, staying plugged into the Internet thanks to Pluggd. Yes, I offered simple sponsorship to anybody who could help us cover our connectivity costs next week - Pluggd responded. This means we’ll be able to post reports, photos, etc. directly from the high seas! Expect to hear more about our daily adventures as they unfold, although I’m not expecting to upload many videos on this journey. I’m very thankful that Pluggd stepped forward to help, as Internet access on a cruise ship is VERY expensive. This is a unique opportunity for everybody, though. While I wish you could join us on the cruise, at least we can share our experiences with the entire world without having to wait. Plus, Pluggd gets to have their name (and link) stamped on every piece of media we put online for the duration of the excursion. I’ll be posting smaller updates to my personal space, most likely extending a few of the more prolific thoughts in the Lockergnome report.
