Chris what's the beef with Outlook 2003? Did I miss the review where you detailed the things you hate about it? I know you hate it, but I can't figure out why.

I have tried to move to evolution on linux and been most annoyed by the existence of a powerful anti-spam capability. I just started using Cloudmark Safety Bar in Outlook 2003 and am stunned at how effective it is. I will probably distribute it to everyone in our little consulting practice. Evolution: give my spam blocking and I'm there. It would be the only really integrated, cross-platform PIM.

Is it just me, or is Evolution just an Outlook clone? I don't really see why you'd want an imitation Outlook when you could have the real thing. Outlook 2000 and XP never impressed me hugely, but 2003 has been great to work with, even without Exchange. Sure, there's room for improvement, and I'm all for competition in a marketplace that obviously has very little right now. But you'd think they could at least *try* and make it look different.
