I had a similar injury on my left wrist too, although it wasnt in a car accident I ended up with an External afixator too. I had it for abour 7 weeks. Hardest part is sleeping with that on. No matter where you put arm you can't sleep. Pain in the "wrist", but it healed pretty good. I wish him well as I have felt his pain. Frankie0566@yahoo.com I feel for your dad.
