PhotoBlocker: Traffic Camera Shield
So, the PhotoBlocker spray makes your license plate unreadable to traffic cameras. To the naked eye, it looks completely normal – reflecting only the camera’s flash and rendering your license plate unreadable. Not to say that I speed all that often… but I’m picking up a can or two for safe measure.
A majority of red light & speed cameras utilize a strong flash to photograph the license plate on your car. Once sprayed on your license plate, PhotoBlocker’s special formula produces a high-powered gloss that reflects the flash back towards the camera. This overexposes the image of your license plate, rendering the picture unreadable. With PhotoBlocker, your license plate is invisible to traffic cameras yet completely legible to the naked eye.
This isn’t just for the person who already has everything, it’s for everybody. “As seen on TV,” but not on any traffic camera.

a spray that you apply to your license plate that supposedly keeps your license plate number away from prying eyes. Just remember every action has an opposite and equal reaction and soon enough it will be outlawed. Isn’t this stuff illegal to use in most states? I’m almost sure it is here in Illinois. Then again I’m sure you might state everything is illegal or frowned upon in the Midwest.

I saw somewhere that while it does make the plate invisible in the initial image, the photo can be “adjusted” to make your plate visible. Great, now you’ll get the ticket and arrested for using the stuff. I choose simply not to run the red light… but hey… I strange that way.
Of course there is always this method:

DOES NOT WORK. I just got 2 tickets. i sprayed 3 coats on my license plates (letting it dry after each) spray. after the first one, i resprayed my plates just to make sure. then i got another ticket 2 months later. the state is Maryland (Montgomery County) and the photo of my license plate came out clear. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This doesn’t work. I painted my plates with it exactly following the directions. I just got a photo ticket for going 11 mph over the speed limit. I got the ticket at night with a very bright flash, so it should have reflected. The picture of my plate was very clear and readable. Don’t waste your money on photo spray.

Listen,
someone is always going to market to suckers. And if you buy this stuff, you’re a sucker. Do you think the police are that stupid? Do you think they would deploy cameras that can be rendered useless because of some reflective spray? This stuff doesn’t work!!
The only thing that work a little bit was a plastic cover that reflected light. In NYC it’s illegal to have ANY cover on your plate. A friend of mine got a ticket for a clear cover that was only protecting his plate.
They will ticket you no matter what you do.

An illegal method to neutralize the unconstitutional laws that allow red light cameras? You bet.
