I am a regular follower of Chris Pirillo’s activities. He’s a smart dude, who says what’s on his mind. Yesterday, I read a post he wrote on pharma (it’s part of a series actually). My first reaction was to respond with a rant of my own, but then I started thinking a bit about a few things. Some might argue that my theory has a lot of holes. I'm not really interested in debate. I also think rocket launchers should be an option on cars though, so my theory is anything but scientific! ;-)

Drug companies are deeply tied to politicians, campaigning, etc.

I have a wild theory that traffic is also tied to some of the overprescribed, prime time advertized “medications” people are popping daily to “medicate” their moods and how they feel about life and themselves. All that said and returning to your once wishful private blog much of what you have been writing about in the past little while is enough of a borderline controversial type of stuff that it can make advertisers very very nervous. Advertising by its very nature abhors controversy not to mention gets real pissy when you go<!--%kramer-post%-->

of advertising with Chris Pirillo that they will be looking at and while you might want to argue against it you know as well as anyone the vagaries of the advertising world.
