PDF Viruses
http://live.pirillo.com/ – In the past few days there have been a large number of e-mails with PDF attachments, but the e-mail isn’t from anyone we know. Is it spam or something sinister?
One of our community members became concerned when his antivirus software did not filter out the PDF files, because he was convinced that they were nothing more than a virus driveby.
SecureComupting.net.au reports that there is a round of PDF spam going around, in an attempt to get around most spam filters, since PDF files are generally not filtered.
The good news is that is isn’t a virus, the bad news is that it’s spam.

Keep my PC running fast and efficiently.
I have searched for and tired many different types of scanners to keep my PC running fast and efficiently. Many of them are similar when it comes to picking up the same types of viruses but there is a big difference when it comes to price. Search-and-destroy Antispyware is one of the best that I’ve used so far and it’s even cheaper than some of the better known scans like Norton and similar scanners.
