For document management, Notes is great, but a tossed together email system based on the same concept is a waste of perfectly good 1's and 0's. I've been forced into using Notes for email at two different companies, and never again...

I've never had to use it but I had clients who used it so we had to "optimize" and troubleshoot the sites we were creating for them. The Lotus Notes development team should be the first against the wall when the revolution comes. Well maybe second. I have a special place marked out for everyone who ever worked at Network Solutions.

*Second* that, man! Second that. We use it for tracking defects and for project management. Gawd, a most NON-intuitive system and it looks and acts like those old DOS applications. Thankfully, our email is Outlook (yes, even though it's M$ - better than LotusShit).

I thank God every day that our Lotus Notes server at work crashed 2 weeks ago, forcing a hasty move to a Pop e-mail system while we get Exchange up & running. I don't know who attacked our server which in turn caused the crash - but if I could find them I would thank them personally. Lotus Notes SUCKS! But now I am back in Outlook and life is good!
