I would try to get out to see Versailles. It’s an amazing place, both inside and out.

Be sure to visit lots of little shops around, the food is excellent, if not a little expensive. When I was there many years ago, I know ice was hard to come by, but you may not need it too much this time of year.

The Pompidou Center is interesting, and is worth a visit.

Don’t forget the Arc de Triomphe, it’s another traditional tourist spot, but cool nonetheless.

Just noticed on some news sites, it looks like there’s a strike going on in Paris (not unusual), but it’s causing a lot of the touristy places to be closed (including the ones above), so good luck!

One of my fondest memories of Paris was walking with my parents through the streets at night, and finding a little restaurant off the main streets. I still remember being presently surprised by the food, especially the chocolate mousse! Look off the beaten path, it’s sure to be some fun.

Go to Jim Morrison’s Grave (you can get their by Metro).

No Museums, because they are on strike right now.

Eifel tower is exciting and fun.

Do a survey of the different Men’s washrooms and the mechanics of the ones you see. You’ll understand it once you see a few of them, very…. rustic.

Versaille’s Castle
A mythic place where one of our famous king lived {Louis XIV}.

Montparnasse Tower
Far from being as beautiful as the Eiffel Tower, but nice pov when you’re on the top.

Les Invalides
Napoleon now lives here ;)
Beautiful monument, nice piece of art… near Eiffel Towel.

Espace Pompidou (art)
Modern art !
Beware, employees are on strike for now.

Walk to :
Saint-Germain des Prés, Saint-Michel, Odéon, Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg, and of course: Notre-Dame !
This is a great area to discover Paris.

Montmartre (great), Pigalle (famous but don’t put it on the top of your td list).

Les Champs-Elysées (legend inside ;) and the Arc de Triomphe..

Paris has some kind of sections called ‘arrondissement’.
Each has a number.
Pay attention to the following : 1 to 9.

About the river ‘la Seine’, you have tourists boats called ‘Bateau mouche’. It could be nice too, but go for a walk. It’s much more interesting.

Try to go to one of these ‘Haute Cuisine’ restaurants.

Guy Savoie. One of the best ever imo.
Be sure to have many €: about 250/300€ for a single person.
But you’ll experience something unique.
