I remember your parents (with Gretchen) were on CFH a while back. Nice people, as I recall.
I was close to buying a Gold Wing a few months ago. A friend has an '85 he let me ride. Cruising at 80 MPH was like riding on a sheet of glass, and the seats on the GWs are incredibly comfortable. Great for those 500 mile days.
It's all right to feel at home. Don't become so cozy that you leave your dirty laundry scattered around the house. ;-)

The Goldwing is a fine motorcycle, made even better because it has a decent community of people who ride those bikes. When I was looking for a touring bike, I almost went with a Goldwind before settling on my Harley Road King (different community).
There are tons of Gold Wing sites online. Start with http://www.hondagoldwings.com/.
If he needs to buy stuff for it, try http://www.things4wings.com/.
A good Google search will put the universe of Goldwings on his screen.
