Painted Snapshot

With Gretchen traveling home today, there's no fear of her seeing this until I pick her up from the airport. I commissioned an artist to craft this portrait of Sprocket. Nice, huh? It got here yesterday, minutes after I received another package. If it'll fit in the trunk, I'll put it in there and surprise her when she goes to stow her suitcase. This is so cool, and I think she'll love it, too.

Awww, that's so cute! Looks just like him! Okay, so I've never seen him in 'person', but he sure looks like the dog I see in the photos and the short movies.

That's such a sweet picture! and the hex-code thing is awesome!

i like it,but how tall are you?

That is really neat looking.

Cool portrait

He really captured that “Deer in Headlights” look.

Excellent Idea thanks, I,m getting one of my Moms dog for her the picture is great.

I've already got tons of pictures of my Max…. .. but now I think I may add a “real” portrait as well.. thanks for the link and the idea Chris!

Very sweet present. She is going to love it!

Tanks Chris, I love the idea and will get one for mommy.
PS your hair seems to be coming back ok!

It looks like they take a photograph, import it into a program like Painter, razzle-dazzle it, and produce their interesting portraits.
The picture of Sprocket is a keeper. I think she'll like it.

That is a gorgeous picture of Sprocket – what a wonderful gift!

Wow, what a cute Sprocket! I think it's a beautiful drawing (much more nicer than mine, that's for sure..)!
I'm sure Gretchen will love it!

No doubt Gretchen will love seeing her “baby” like that. What a cool gift!

That is an amazing picture of Sprocket! I've wanted to do something like that of my feather-baby Dolce but it's much too expensive for me! That hexadecimal piece is pretty darn cool too! I bet he could sell prints of that stuff on ThinkGeek or something similar.

looks a lot like a photoshopped image to me…forgive me for being a troll. =)

Oregon trail, man that is old school computer games. The good old days…

Wow!! That's a wonderful Portrait of Sprocket! So sweet. Gretchen is going to really love it.
