In early 2006 I actually received a valid check in the mail from NPD Research. But I too am skeptical about most of the other surveys for $$$

I don’t know why. I got approved for a payout of 126.00 and have not been paid yet. It has been over 120 days!!I emailed 3 times. They responded the first time and said it takes at least 90 days!!I am beginning to wonder if panda research is a rip off.

I did about 25 surveys for Panda Research, and made $100.00, and they put it in your Paypal account, but it takes at least 45 days to pay you. What and Why is that?

Caveat emptor – I signed up with surveyclub.com and have received nothing but very persistent 'MLM' recruitment offers – no surveys though.

Apparently… No REAL survey company will ever ask you for any money!!!! The idea is that they pay you!!! I'm still searching!!! Let me know if anything good is found!!!!!

I agree with Steve. You have no way of knowing where and how the information will be used and you may be paying a heavy price in increased spyware, malware, spam, etc. for participating in these surveys. There is a site called “Gratis” that appears to be legit, but you have to recruit5 others to join before you get your freebies, so it could be a variation of pyramid schemes. Better for you to spend your time elsewhere on the web.
