Two of these suspects actually live in the Seattle area – so why not let the debate play out on stage at this year's Gnomedex in late June? Scoble and Israel on one side, Werner and [???] on the other side, with the ever-impartial [???] moderating. If last year's stats were any indication, the Amazonians will be underrepresented in the audience (I think only Jeff Barr bothered to show up).
