Then read the similar info on the American Lung Association web site. Those units don't COLLECT anything, yet they claim to clean your air. WHERE does that stuff go? If it had the power to make stuff "disintegrate," as some imply, imagine the effect it might have on your lung tissue. Ozone is a gas, and there is plenty of negative reading material out there about it. Ozone generators cost very little to make, are commonly sold via multi-level marketing, and have HUGE (sometimes as much as 90%) profit margins! That's why so many of the reps out there will TELL YOU ANYTHING to get you to buy one. Steer clear! From my experience, the best air cleaners are the Friedrich C-90A and the IQAIR (in that order).
