Hey Chris,
Something struck me immediately, besides the cool factor of your apartment.
You own an i-mac and yet you used Windows Movie Maker to make your clip. I thought that was kind of amusing considering the parade of “smart people” that have been thrown about in print ads and on television touting the ease of the mac and its prowess at video/graphics.
Okay, maybe I'm just a geek, but I thought that was kinda cool. Considering that I consider you smarter than most of the toads in those commercials (and a whole hell of a lot more recognizable), your non-use of the mac spoke more to me than their use of it :-)
Very nice apartment, good luck with it to You, Gretchen and Sprocket…

Aw, Chris and Gretchen,
Wonderful choice. Beautiful, spacious, and it looks like Sprocket agrees :)
Congrats on the new digs. We are heading up that way before too long (but we bring our home with us!)

AWESOME new place — you guys are gonna love it there! I am about 50 shades of green over that garden, too. Sprocket looked very, very happy as well. Congrats!

Looking sharp Chris! But does it have a panic room? ;) Not that you need to hide from anyone… except maybe spammers…

Ok, it's official. As an ex-San Francisco rez (now banished to North Carolina), I am now truly homesick and terribly envious. It was the view out those great bay windows that got to me. Sniff…
Congratulations on the new place, man. Keep up the good work on Call for Help (just got TechTV and Tivo and I'm hooked)!

Looks like a nice place in a good neighborhood. I approve (as does Sprocket).
And Chris, you're pretty good with a camera. Once you get burned out from the whole television thing, you could become an online filmmaker.
Best of luck with the move. I'd help, but I'm in Ohio and I don't have a truck.

Hi Chris,
Wonderful new place. Wish me and the other half had room like that. Sprocket looked right at home. Can't wait to see video of what it looks like after the painting.

Too wonderful! My husband and I have a dream to live in SF one day! It is just beautiful, especially compared to the flat land of Oklahoma.

Looks awesome Chris. Congrats. Is rcn.com in your area, I got some friends in San Mateo who have it, does it reach to your area downtown?

Chris,
Thank you so much for sharing views of your new home to us. I think your view is excellent. The garden is amazing and I really like the spacious living area. I'm glad to see Sprocket has a friend. This is the first time I've seen Gretchen. She is so beautiful. How lucky are you! Well, now that you're a big TV star and media mogul I'm sure you'll be continuing to move up in the world very quickly! Keep up the good work, Chris. (Sorry to use the cliche teacher phrase, but I'm a teacher, it's an occupational hazard :-))

Very Cool Old Building, and Well made by the looks of it. Who cares about the Dishwasher and Microwave (ok-so flog me!)
When you can have a bit of old-building-with-lots-of-style
class?
One thing about Detroit, long ago and far away, were the large old buildings with old style class – even in the dive sections….. of course they are mostly burn't out shells now, and yours is much nicer. But the Clincher is,and the one truly important thing in the final analysis …….Sprocket Likes it !!

I hope you enjoy your new apartment with your overprotective landlord Ted Knight and his two beautiful daughters. And your quirky neighbour Monroe! Ahh, that Monroe…always getting into some kind of trouble.
