Our First Show - Live

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world's largest annual tradeshow for consumer technology and America's largest annual tradeshow of any kind. Tune in as we take you behind the scenes, interview key players in the consumer electronics industry, and unveil some of the hottest gadgets nobody knows exist. We'll be live one-on-one with representatives from some of our favorite companies and we want you to join us. Activities begin LIVE in about a half hour - courtesy of Windows Media and Limelight. No live calls on this show, unfortunately - but tons of interesting people.

Win an Xbox 360, PSP, or other great prizes!

Chris is giving away one substantial gift on every live show. By substantial we’re talking at the level of a PSP or Xbox 360! We’ll likely rotate the “big gift” every week, but it’ll always be worth a few hundred dollars!

For your chance to win tune in, join us in the chat, and call in! How difficult is that? No joke!

LIVE FROM CES!!

On January 5 and January 6, The Chris Pirillo Show will be live from CES from 1:30-3:00 PM Pacific. If you’re at the tradeshow, you can see the live broadcast in the Featured Community section of the Microsoft booth. You can catch the live CES broadcast using the same URL we use to stream the weekly show. We’ll be interviewing people about the big CES announcements and giving away a few goodies. In the meantime, check out some of the downloads from the archive and stay tuned for more live shows in 2006.

Chuck ______

Chuck ______ was with the Luna design team for Microsoft Vista. Chris isn’t exactly a fan of Luna. Lately, Chris is now a Product Design lead and has been working on the sidebar for Vista which offers a lot of the same type of widgets [Microsoft is calling them Gadgets] as found in Yahoo’s Konfabulator or Google Desktop Sidebar.

Major Nelson

Major Nelson aka Larry is no stranger to the Chris Pirillo show. He’s on the Xbox360 team. Larry has been busy doing all the Xbox 360 demos at Microsoft’s booth so he hasn’t had much time to do much walking around and see everything new.

Patrick Husband

Patrick is with OSNN.net. He has been looking around and stuff and has been most impressed with the LCDs that are bigger than his bedroom! He is a tester for Windows Media Player 11 and really loves it. He can’t wait to start playing with it on the Xbox360.

OSNN mostly talks about Windows despite its name standing for Operating System News Network.
