The thing I hate the most about the Microsoft and Linux security blather, et al, is that it diverts the attention from the real horror: you are going to do something insanely stupid to you and your friends long before something malicious happens from a stranger. What do I love about Linux? Two words. "Permission denied." That has saved me from my Homer Simpson Bozo Idiot self so many times I can't tell you. It just irks me when ScreenSavers will say something like "never open an attachment from someone you don't know!" Oh, it's the people you DO know... the ones with your e-mail address in their address books -- that you must guard against. You and your posse are dangerous to each other. You are dangerous to you.
