Nick Bradbury on FeedDemon 2.0

If you read more than a handful of RSS feeds you need something more robust than a Web-based news aggregator. This week Chris chatted with Nick Bradbury about the upcoming 2.0 release of his news aggregation app FeedDemon. Topics range from feature enhancements currently found in the beta release of FeedDemon 2.0 to a range of features Chris would love to see in future versions. Two killer features coming to 2.0 are an unread feeds view that only displays feeds containing new posts and a Feeds I Pay Least Attention To feature which makes it easier to dump those feeds you never read. If you haven’t tired FeedDemon, be sure to download the 2.0 beta and give it a test.

Tonight’s Calls

  • Harold in LA, Cali called in to ask if Chris tried Microsoft Office Live. Chris hasn’t tried it yet but has heard that it isn’t that great. Its basically a repackaged Bcentral and lacks most of the functionality of Office. If you’re looking for an inexpensive office clone try Open Office.
