Nice Segway
Several updates on the Gnomedex front. I've talked Phillip Torrone (book author and director of product development for Fallon Worldwide) into bringing a Segway Human Transporter for you to admire, VIA is running a contest to win an EPIA M10000 Mini-ITX mainboard, and the School of Metaphysics will be there, too. Don't ask. I just got off the phone with Sean and his gang, and we've got some good stuff cookin' with them. The Greater Des Moines Partnership is now officially a Premium sponsor, and Lindows is giving away a few accounts as prizes. I'm headed back to Iowa in a few weeks to drum up even more local support for our event. I'd like to hit capacity, but can only do that if you continue to help me spread the word.

I won't be attending Gnomedex myself, but I have some friends who are googoo gaga over stuff like that so I'll slap them with your Gnomedex website and maybe some of them will contribute! (I won't really slap them… they're my friends and I DO love them.) (honest)

You are a lucky man to have a Lasko fan. Lasko fans are the greatest. They run quieter and more efficiently than other models. I do not work for Lasko but am a big fan of their fans.
