Here's a Registry tweak for you folks who don't need a throbber in the Windows [XP] Explorer. It'll completely wipe out that Windows logo (but keep the one inside IE intact). I'm addicted to optimizing Windows via Regedit – although you should be careful when doing anything in there! If you're looking for a Registry cleaner, check here.

Steve over at TweakXP has tons of Registry “hacks.” I've been tweaking for years now, thanks to supersites like his. The system Registry isn't as scary for me as it once was, either. REGEDIT.EXE has quite a familiar face, though it may not be easy to use for most less-than-power users. What shall I tweak next?
