Living in St. Louis, I run on a trail that passes Grants Farm (where the Clydesdales are raised). I thought for certain Budweiser would cameo their new prize foal “Captain” at the Superbowl. He was born on New Years Day. He has all the marks required for the hitch (all the teams are identical).
Momma does not allow strangers near her baby. Momma weighs 1,800 lbs and can easily run twice the speed of a human. She can block.
Still, to see them at dawn; free in the meadow; frosty breath; they look more magnificent in person than they do on TV. Wish we could say that about Britney Spears.
