Eight cups or so seems the point of good taste stability. I think that is why store-bought coffee seems to taste better; it is usually made in larger quantities. I love the coffee so much that everytime we go by it , I have to stop. I bought a pound from them, and was going to make my own little "cup of heaven", anytime I wanted to. When I brewed it thru my machine, it tasted like crap! I'll never buy any of it to brew myself again. I'll put on my coat, get into the car, and go to the local Dunkin' Donuts. I know how you feel :-(
