MSN Virtual Earth: Oops.
According to ActiveWin this morning, MSN has silently launched their MSN Virtual Earth product. Naturally, I rushed over there to give it a spin. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Maxthon. Seems like an oversight… as both Google Maps and Yahoo! Maps work fine in the same browser with the same settings. I've already submitted a bug… and I'm hoping that it'll be fixed soon, by either one of the two product teams. Sorry, Scoble…
UPDATE: Apparently a malconfigured setting on my end was causing the problem. Total PEBKAC! Things seem to be working fine now. Between MSN Virtual Earth and Google Maps, I'll never need Streets & Trips again.

I have noticed Virtual Earth is down as well. they're likely still working on it. Can't wait to try it out when it's officially released!

If it was not fixed soon, it might have been called “MSN Virtual Oops”.
All in good fun. ;o)

Chris - It works fine in Maxthon.
You just have to disable the “Float Ad Blocker” or add it to the white list.
